A man identified as Boago Raditau reportedly took the life of his girlfriend identified as Mpho Morotsi in Kalamare village.
The incident reportedly took place in the early hours of today, March 15, near a night club.
Those who were are the scene of the incident could not independently reveal what led to the tragedy but it was stated that the young man fled the scene immediately after killing his girlfriend.
The young man’s lifeless body was later found, suggesting that he committed suicide after he fled the scene.
Police have launched an investigation, while residents of Kalamare are in shock over the tragic event.
